{ S o m e t i m e s . . . }

no matter how much you L O V E it, it just doesn't work.

My Pop-pop gave my siblings and I this pin ball machine in the early 70's.
I love the colors, the vintage look, the idea of having a pin ball machine in your house, everything.
But, I just can seem to get it to work in this room.

Don't you agree?
The Dan cave is coming together, but I just feel like I'm forcing the pin ball machine on this room.

But it's better than this, right?

May be after we paint the basement, I'll transfer it to there.

It is sort of the elephant in the room...hopefully no one will mind if it is moved downstairs!

At least it's not a big putting green... it's the only thing I've given to my hubby in the living room... he made a fuss about it, now I constantly remind him how big of a "thing" it is I gave him and that the rest of the room and house is mine to do what I want with! I did get him to move it to the garage for Christmas and our tree! I've nicknamed it the green elephant. Your elephant is much prettier!

What I would do is try it in the corner where the plant is, have a piece of glass made for the top, level the glass on the piece by putting about 4 pieces of either wood balls(painted different colors), or wooden spools,(of course you would have to glue these things to the machine) anything that would level the glass so that you could place photos or a small plant. OR just wait for the other room to be finished. I think it looks cute because it breaks up the room and livens it....in a fun way. Either way.....great pinball machine!
